NBGHome is a leading global designer, manufacturer and marketer of home décor products, including custom and ready-made picture framing, lighting, wall décor, indoor and outdoor accent furniture and soft goods. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our headquarters in Austin, Texas. This fast-paced, critical position is highly visible resource on a small, dynamic team that is directly supportive to executive management.


The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with “ownership” mentality and FP&A and merger and acquisition experience.  The candidate must also be systems savvy, particularly experienced with SQL databases.


Additional qualifications and skills required:

  • Minimum five years of direct financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer products environment or significant M&A experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance mandatory, MBA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills,
  • General familiarity with multiple ERP systems a plus (SAGE, JD EDWARDS, TNL, SAP)
  • SQL database management  
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Familiarity with EBITDA in the context of private equity backed companies



  • As the financial analyst, you are the primary finance focal point for several of our business units, with the expectation you will grow into a true business partner.
  • The annual budget modeling process including income statement, balance sheet, capital expenditures and cash flow and forecasts for U.S. and international operations for your business units.
  • Preparation and ongoing analysis of operating budgets. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of budget to actual and prior period financial results providing insight, reasons and explanations for identified variances.
  • Analysis of financial data for senior management, Board of Directors and private equity owners.
  • In-depth analysis of product line and customer profitability analysis from a sales, volume and margin perspective and other ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to provide tools and analysis to enable better decision making and greater efficiency.
  • Continuous focus on simplification and standardization.
