Corporate Photographer

NBGHome is a leading global designer, manufacturer and marketer of home décor products including custom and ready-made picture framing, lighting, wall décor, accent furniture and soft goods. We are currently seeking a Corporate Photographer for our headquarters in Northwest Austin, Texas.

 

Positon Summary

You will be responsible for creating and preparing high quality digital photographs including catalog photos, sale support materials, website images, magazine photography, 360 degree web photos, and all PR and marketing materials. The photographer receives and organizes photo samples, creates and dismantles photo sets (including lighting, props, and set pieces as needed) and shoots photos. You are responsible for all post production work as needed and will be accountable for organizing and archiving our library of all company images. You should possess the ability to work under deadline pressure and be flexible enough to maneuver around changing priorities, maintain a positive attitude, a sense of pride in your work, and a passion for producing top notch photography.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize, and return product after photo shoot
  • Style, light, and photograph all images as requested
  • Perform all post production photo retouching and editing
  • Install and dismantle all photo sets, store and organize all photo equipment
  • Operate and maintain all photo equipment, suggest and purchase new equipment
  • Maintain and organize photo props, set pieces, and backgrounds – purchase new pieces as needed
  • Remain current and knowledgeable about cameras, photography, lighting, new software and hardware
  • Remain current in the latest trends for home décor and photographing home décor products
  • Keep the files and studio neat, clean and organized at all times

 

Requirements

  • College Degree in Photography or quantifiable work related experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a studio (product photography experience a real plus)
  • Proficiency with Adobe software, and other photo editing software as needed
  • Passion for photography coupled with a strong sense of color, design, composition, and lighting
  • Ability to accept and work with feedback from multiple sources
  • Must enjoy a fast paced environment with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple assignments
