Product/Design Manager

Provides the lead in determining the overall creative and product direction of a customer’s program. Works directly with customer and sales to determine the overall design, trend and products necessary to support the development of a customer’s program. Is responsible for developing a program of products that drives the overall growth and profitability of a customer’s business.  This is a full time salary position and reports to the Director of Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:

  • Responsible for all design and creative direction of a customer’s program.
  • Point person for developing and presenting all trend direction to the customer
  • Responsible for the all product design and strategy.
  • Coordinates with Sales to determine all selling prices and customer margins.
  • Responsible with assessing market characteristics, measurements of market potentials, market-share analysis and developing a product strategy that drives the overall growth and profit of a customer.
  • Responsible with strategically determining all customers program requirements including packaging, and merchandising Requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Significant use of Microsoft Office is required.
  • An moderate skill level in Excel and PowerPoint Required.
  • Significant use and understanding of both project management software (Wrike) product development database (Filemaker) required. Training to be provided however previous experience and understanding is needed.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a consumer product design, development and marketing setting.
