Maintenance Industrial Electrician

Nielsen Bainbridge Group, a leading global consumer packaged goods company is currently seeking an Industrial Electrician to lead the maintenance function for its 2nd shiftBridgeview, IL manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in the field of automated equipment and machinery.


Type of manufacturing: foam extrusion, foam lamination, foam thermoforming, paper lamination, reclaim



Effectively manages and leads the maintenance function within the plant.  Performs scheduled and unscheduled electrical repair and maintenance to all machinery, production equipment, material handling equipment and facility.

  • Preventive maintenance, break downs, additions to or modifications of all machinery.

  • Understand and follow all company policies.
  • Perform other duties as required to maintain plant safety, production quality and flow rates.



  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Self-directed and result-driven.
  • Profound knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Capable of reading electrical schematics.
  • Install and program VFD’s (variable frequency drives)
  • Programming of PLC’s.
  • Understanding of ladder logic.
  • Perform electrical preventive maintenance: which includes visual inspection, component replacement, data collection, panel cleaning, panel wiring panel documenting and various other duties.
  • Provide support to production personnel by answering all breakdown assistance calls.
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of single and three phase power distribution & equipment up to 480V.
  • Installation or AC/DC motors from fractional to 300HP. 



• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Prefer degree in Industrial Electricity.
• Certificate of successful completion from electrical technical program or electrician apprenticeship program is required.
• Wiling to attend seminars for further education in relative field.
