Warehouse Associate Level 3 (Lead)

Plantation Patterns, a division of NBGHome, is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality outdoor cushions and umbrellas in the United States. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate Level 3 to join our Calera, AL distribution center Warehouse team.  This is a first-shift, hourly non-exempt position that serves as a Team Lead reporting to Warehouse management.



As a Warehouse Associate Level 3, you will work within a dynamic and passionate team to achieve and maintain the goals of our distribution center. This role works with warehouse management to assist in training team members, as well as recognizing and resolving issues in the warehouse. Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, you will assist the team in making warehouse processes/responsibilities more efficient.

  • Daily inspection and care of equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Communicate/Interact/Support of all departments.
  • Locate material into inventory per AIMS.
  • Pull material from inventory for work orders.
  • Return material to inventory from work orders.
  • Load/Unload/Relocate material as needed per Inventory/Production/Shipping/Quality Control requirements.
  • Assist/support all warehouse personnel.
  • Accurate use of scanning equipment.
  • Conduct cycle counts including researching and documenting inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and possible solutions.
  • Monitor and perform key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness at all times.
  • Inspect product locations: ensure quantities are correct and items are in correct location.
  • Perform daily audits to ensure accuracy of received quantities.
  • Document all errors found during any research pertaining to a SKU in question.
  • Complete all required paperwork/transactions accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Work safely at all times and comply with all established safety rules and guidelines including reporting noncompliance.
  • Communicate information related to daily work activity to supervisor and managers.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Accept special projects as assigned by supervisor. 

Skills/Abilities Experience Requirements:

  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through, time management, and multi-task abilities.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of specific operating equipment.
  • Team player that works well within a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision as well in a team.
  • Minimum of one (1) year regular and standup forklift experience within the last 18 months; must be certified within three (3) months of hire.
  • Two (2) years in a team lead position.
  • Two (2) years warehouse experience.
  • Lifting and moving boxes will be required.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision as well in a team.
  • Proven Safety record.
  •  Must be able to stand and walk for the full 8-12 hour shift on possible irregular surfaces.
  •  Proof of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successfully complete all pre-employment checks (including Drug Screen and Background Check)
  • If necessary, must be able to work overtime and weekends with little notice.
