National Sales Account Manager

THRO, a division of leading global consumer packaged goods company NBGHome, is currently seeking an experienced National Sales Account Manager.  This position will manage established accounts, representing our Soft Home division, and will be based in our Islip, NY office. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, self-starter willing to work hard with a fast-paced company. 

Applicant should also be creative with a strong fashion sense, trend savvy and esthetically driven to meet buyers needs quickly in a very fast paced industry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, Management, Fashion Home Merchandising or other related fields required.
  • Minimum 4 year wholesale sale/mass market experience required. Knowledge or sales experience in soft home textile product a plus.  
  • Very strong Microsoft Office skills required. Adobe and Photoshop a plus.
  • Must be able to attend weekly sales meetings in NYC showroom as scheduled.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
