Production Development Assistant - Graphic Designer

Patton Picture Company, a division of NBGHome, has an opportunity for a Product Development Assistant/Graphic Designer based in our Mechanicsburg, PA facility.  This position is responsible for providing support to the Product Development Department. Responsibilities include entering product specifications into spreadsheets, having samples made for sales meetings, photographing and preparing visual images of samples and finished product to be presented to customers.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provides specifications and materials to sample production team.
  • Performs data entry of specifications into spreadsheets and Sage.
  • Uses a digital camera to record visuals of prototypes, samples, and finished product.  Digitally cleans all sample photographs. Maintains visual inventory (printed, jpeg, etc.) of all images including domestic and import items.   
  • Will have excellent Photoshop skills and will be able to work on art designs as needed.
  • Prepares and applies all back labels, photography labels, and organizes mates for visuals.
  • Coordinates the shipment of samples to Sales Team members or directly to customers.
  • Prepare visual books for meetings and presentations.
  • Provides jpeg and visual images to Product Development, Sales, etc., as requested. 
  • Prepares and creates planogram layouts for current and prospective customers. 
  • Prepares, maintains and distributes visual books of the New York Line. 
  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with Photoshop and MS Office, including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
  • Familiar with Adobe Suite including InDesign and Bridge.
  • Ability to use a digital camera, scanner, and CD Burner.
  • Extremely computer literate.
  • Detail-focused and Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects at the same time.
  • Comfortable seeking and requesting necessary information.
  • Able to succeed and adapt in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
