NBGHome is a leading global designer, manufacturer and marketer of home décor products including custom and ready-made picture framing, lighting, wall décor, indoor and outdoor accent furniture and soft goods. We are currently seeking a Sales Channel Analyst to be based in our Northwest Austin, Texas headquarters.  


This position will support the sales team with sales analysis to improve efficiency as sales volume increases. This position is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data to the Account Manager to increase overall sales productivity. The Analyst will create both standardized and custom reports, analyze product and sales activity, and work with the sales team to prepare for customer meetings. The Analyst will also assist in the development of standardized tools, methodologies, and various business processes for refining operational efficiency. This position plays a critical role in the enhancement and improvement of top-line business understanding and decision-making.



  • Own and actively manage sales data, SKU performance and forecast to increase sales productivity across various sales channels.
  • Proactively plan product needs based on sales history to optimize inventory levels before they become shortages to provide best customer experience and meet inventory health metrics.
  • Lead weekly reporting efforts to provide sales direction regarding sales patterns, seasonal trends, and future purchases to drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales team to incorporate sales forecasts into daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Develop, maintain and analyze competitive category analysis.
  • Maintain product data in PIM portal.
  • Estimate monthly shortages using page view/traffic metrics to measure missed opportunities on out of stock items.
  • Communicate sales reporting and forecasting to management.
  • Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines.
  • Follow up with customers as needed to drive clarity in order management.
  • Generate ad hoc reporting for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, and Product Management.


Job Requirements

  • BS in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of business analyst / demand planning experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer products environment.
  • Familiarity with sales reporting
  • Detail oriented with strength in high-level data analysis
  • PIM portal experience desired
  • Advanced knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) with expert knowledge of Excel
  • Good group presentation skills and ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Enjoys working independently as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, utilize resources effectively and drive for results.
