Distribution Center Training Coordinator

NBG Home is a leading global designer, manufacturer and marketer of home decor products including custom and ready-made picture framing, lighting, wall décor, indoor and outdoor accent furniture and soft goods. We are currently seeking a Distribution Center Training Coordinator for our Home Décor division located in Southaven, MS.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Training Coordinator will deliver company training to new and existing employees and managers on the job functions in the Distribution Center. Assist the DC Managers in the development and creation of lesson plans and training aids. Monitor the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results. Collect feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation. Contribute to the design of new training and enhancements of existing processes. Additionally, Training Coordinator will gain exposure to some of the complex tasks, processes and procedures within each job function in the Distribution Center.

  • Closely monitor employee productivity and accuracy rates to ensure standards are met.
  • Create & administer video training for all Distribution Center processes.
  • Create & manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Create & Manage Employee Development Program
  • Administer Employee Testing
  • Monitor Daily/Weekly Errors & Determine Root Causes
  • Perform a SWOT Analysis by Dept.
  • Facilitate Local Kaizen Events
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis
  • Create & Manage Virtual Training area


  • Prior Video Editing Experience is preferred
  • Prior Kaizen experience is preferred
  • Prior warehouse experience; WMS experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of lean and six sigma
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of 6S, Visual Management
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to take initiative and lead change
  • Ambition, a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn
  • Must have effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple requests
  • Must have clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal in a cross functional environment)
  • This job is performed in both an office environment and a non-air-conditioned warehouse.
