JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Generalist supports Plantation Patterns, LLC as a generalist engaging in all functional areas of Human Resources.  Administration of company policies, procedures and programs to include Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), full cycle recruitment process, employee relations, employee benefits, and compensation management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Recruitment, selection process, and logistics 

Data integrity for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) 

Employment related regulatory compliance / reporting

OSHA safety regulatory compliance / reporting

Employee orientation, development, and training 

Employee recognition and wellness initiatives

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports and/or administers programs, procedures and guidelines in alignment with strategic goals.

Maintains and Manages Paycom HRIS system

Prepares and analyzes reports, as necessary

Facilitates recruitment planning meetings in alignment with staffing needs.

Coaches and/or supports management in communicating Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws

Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

Participates and/or conducts investigations as necessary based on employee or management feedback / complaints, safety, compliance and/or policy related concerns.

Coordinates training initiatives in alignment with organizational needs and measures training effectiveness.

Assists with compensation management to include reviewing market data trends and pay rate ranges revising as necessary.

Experience with HRIS Systems and maintaining data integrity.

Experience with Full Cycle Recruiting.

Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills

High degree of discretionary decision making and confidentiality.

Excellent organizational skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree, 3-4 years of experience required or equivalent years of progressive Human Resource Generalist of business experience required.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Valid driver’s license SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:
