We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst, based remote.  The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for translating business requirements into high functioning analytics solutions. The successful candidate will turn data from various sources and processes into relevant, meaningful, and impactful insights that drive smart, timely, data driven decisions that drive both sales and margin.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales analytics solutions across sales operations that allow the team to make data driven decisions that drive sales and margin.
  • Work closely with sales and sales planning partners to identify and understand the information required to accelerate growth within the business.
  • Translate business requirements into high functioning analytics solutions.
  • Redesign existing tools, reports, and reporting templates, as needed (ex: pricing tool, Customer P&Ls (future))
  • Create and support selling, pricing and customer POS tools
  • Design and support data visualizations, reports & dashboards.
  • Understand product line and customer profitability from a sales and gross margin perspective.
  • Provide focused POS & sales analysis by category & customer
  • Ad hoc analysis, as needed.


Education & Experience

  • 2 years of professional experience
  • Certified Advanced Excel experience in creating Macros, Pivot Tables
  • Experience in building analytics & customized reporting
  • Experience in sourcing and extracting data from multiple Business Applications and ERPs


Preferred Skills

  • Proficient in designing, developing dashboards and tabular reports within Power BI
  • Knowledge of Sage, JDE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics ERP applications
  • Experience within the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack
  • Sales, Inventory Planning, Sales Planning Experience
  • Forecasting, Budgeting knowledge
