Senior Director, Product Strategy – Wall Decor, Frames & Accents

We are currently seeking a Senior Director, Product Strategy, based remote.  The Product Strategy team will achieve corporate strategic and financial objectives by strategizing, conceiving, creating, directing, and managing all NBG brands, product categories, and individual products to exceed consumer and customer needs and desires.

 We get this done by being:

  1. The NBG internal service arm that delivers on consumer and customer requests from the sales and digital teams and composes requests to support partners that align with their capabilities, capacities, operating processes and operating requirements.
  1. The cross-functional hub-of-the wheel in directing and driving market and product objectives across design, insights, innovation, development, sourcing, sales, planning, and finance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the integrated strategy for target consumers and customers
  • Maintain, extend, and innovate
  • Achieve sales, margin, and budget goals for category (ies)
  • Day to day cross-functional  leadership and management of strategic projects
  • Strong relationships with strategic retailers
  • Close relationship with all stakeholders to determine timelines/goals
  • Set priorities and manage Product Strategist resources
  • Interface with Divisional Sales, Digital  Sourcing team leadership
  • Clear communications to sales team regarding project status
  • Market and category expert
  • Budget management
  • Develop, train and coach product strategy team

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Product Design or Retail Merchandising
  • Master’s degree desired?  Not required
  • 10+ years of progressive work experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in product development, innovation development or new product concept development



This position requires some domestic travel, approximately 10%
