We are currently seeking a Digital Shelf Analyst, based remote, reporting to the Digital Marketing Director. The Digital Shelf Analyst is part of the NBG Home Digital Center of Excellence and is responsible for ensuring that all NBG Home products are accurately represented and optimized across all ecommerce channels where our products are sold. This person will leverage Digital Shelf Analytics within Salsify (Product Experience Management Platform) to help with the distribution and optimization of product data and content. This person will also be solely responsible for managing NBG Home’s Product Review program through 3rd party platform Bazaarvoice and Retailer dedicated programs like Amazon Vine. This role supports Digital Shelf team counterparts and works closely with additional key eCommerce stakeholders to ensure that each product detail page is established, executed, and thoroughly maintained. Once products are live, the Digital Shelf Analyst provides content performance analytics to derive key insights and opportunity analysis into content, categorization, and review optimizations to achieve and maintain a best-in-class digital shelf and ultimately drive more value and revenue for customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product page monitoring, review management, and reporting for digital shelf services provided for internal and external customers.
  • Audit and help maintain product taxonomy and information, such as: product meta data, product descriptions, and digital assets within Salsify
  • Work with Category Product Data & Content Specialists to maintain Digital Shelf related fields within Item Setup Trackers and drive customer product onboarding efficiencies by monitoring product pages at launch, ensuring live and correctly displayed on site
  • Collaborate with key partners to resolve product page issues in a timely manner
  • Execute all product Sampling requests from internal partners, manage fulfillment with internal and external operations teams, and report on Product Review KPIs
  • Provide regular digital shelf reporting and analysis to provide recommendations for enhancing product content across all eCommerce customers
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key external partners; Salsify, Bazaarvoice, etc. to ensure ongoing communication and prioritization of our account/campaign needs and contract fulfilment
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and help to create presentations to illustrate digital shelf performance and opportunity to internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Work with Digital Shelf team to assist in strategic planning for specific products, categories and data clean-up
  • Assist in testing new system features and integrations within the Digital COE Tech Stack


Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Ability to analyze, conceptualize, and logically organize information with a high degree of precision and accuracy
  • Comfortable with all types and sources of data, but should be intimately familiar with data generated for marketing/eCommerce purposes
  • Firm command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Hands-on experience with PIM/DAM solutions; Salsify experience a plus
  • Experience with one or more languages used for querying data
  • Familiarity with reporting and data visualization platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau, etc. and additional analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or SAS
  • Strong communication skills, particularly when articulating findings in meaningful, clear ways to ecommerce marketing and sales stakeholders with an emphasis on actionable insights
  • Demonstrates project management abilities by multi-tasking, prioritizing, being flexible and meeting deadlines on a consistent basis
  • Learning new platforms for management and distribution of information
  • Understanding and experience with product taxonomy and assortment management
  • Confidence to make decisions in a time-sensitive environment
  • Dedicated work ethic and punctuality; responsible and reliable with strong personal integrity


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or related field or equivelant experience 
  • 1-2 years of digital marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in the Home Décor industry a plus
  • Background in managing digital shelf-related data desired
  • Knowledge and experience with Salsify and/or Bazaarvoice is preferred
