We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist, located in Charleston, SC reporting to the National Sales Manger.This position works closely with the National Sales Manager and Art Director.   The Marketing Specialist develops and assists in coordination of marketing plans, publications, promotional materials and communication using business writing and business office software as it supports the Lighting Showroom and other channels which Quoizel is sold. This position is also responsible for the coordination, oversight, feedback, direction and vision of Lighting Showroom sales events including, but not limited to: Dallas Market (Jan/June), Pre-Buy, Product Advisory, ALA, Annual Sales Banquet, Lifestyle Photo Shoots, Virtual Scripts, and Sales Retreat and ensures the events are a success, on budget, and meet Quoizel standards.  The Marketing Specialist will need Graphic Design background along with Knowledge of Social Media Platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provides marketing account management support to Sales by distributing advertising materials including high resolution product and brand imagery, promos, and additional marketing/PR related materials and communications
  • Ensures all Branding Guidelines are implemented across all Marketing materials and presented in accordance with Quoizel standards
  • Proofs all marketing materials for product accuracy, grammar, spelling, and punctuation including, but not limited to: Catalog, Supplement, Promos, Sales Banquet Presentations, Advertisements, Carton Artwork, Product Tags, Instruction sheets; edits accordingly
  • Creates index file for Catalog and Supplement, price lists
  • Ensures all price lists are accurate, up to date in DAX, and distributes accordingly
  • Creates and maintains spreadsheets for all Marketing Promotions. Once promotional products are available, coordinate the distribution and mailing to customers.
  • Plans and executes all facets of sales events in addition to marketing needs, including adherence to set budget, coordination of travel, meals, entertainment, hospitality, staffing associates and related presentations
  • Ships all marketing supplies to Dallas. Attends Dallas Market twice per year.

  • Knowledge of DAX, GLOW, SSRS, Maxload a plus, Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign Acrobat


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing or a related field
