We are currently seeking a  a dynamic, engaging, well-rounded leader with an IT Infrastructure and Service Delivery background to join our technology team as Director of Infrastructure Services. Reporting to the CTO, this position will be responsible for the IT Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.  NBG Home is embarking on an aggressive business application transformation initiative. This initiative aims to drive scale, simplicity, and efficiency to position NBG Home as the leader in the Affordable Home Décor market.  This position will lead the modernization of our IT infrastructure portfolio aligned to the broader transformation effort.  The Director, of Infrastructure Services will play an integral role in driving the success of this multi-year initiative. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain the technology infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, resiliency, security, and value alignment.
  • Continually access infrastructure portfolio identifying opportunities for simplification, consolidation, and cloud migration.
  • Own and manage IT General Controls, including
    • Change Management
    • Configuration Management
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
  • Define and manage cybersecurity posture based on NIST Framework, ensuring that investments align with threats and risks.  
  • Establish an roboust employee collaboration platform, evangelize and drive adoption.
  • Oversee IT Service Delivery, ensure end-user needs are met, and define the services model based on ITIL.
  • Establish a business continuity strategy plan for our critical systems and infrastructure,
  • Design and implement solutions to ensure business SLAs are achieved
  • Establish proactive monitoring capability to ensure responsive alerting across the portfolio
  • Engage and manage key vendor relationships
  • Prepare and track compliance to annual budget and forecast
  • Establish a practice of capacity planning with peers across the business and IT

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or business information systems.
  • Demonstrated experience transforming IT infrastructure and moving an organization toward a service delivery model
  • A strong working understanding of Information Security and Cyber Security principles and practices
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management in a complex environment and a background in architecture, systems administration, network administration and storage administration
  • Proven IT leadership and staff development skills
  • Leadership experience directing, leading and mentoring IT professionals
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL and change management systems and methodologies
  • Demonstrates the business and financial acumen necessary to develop and present data-based ideas and solutions in a clear, concise, organized manner
  • Experience designing and administering IP based networks, WAN technologies (SD Wan, QOS…etc.), virtual server technologies, single sign-on and authentication, DHCP/DNS, MS Azure, MS Dynamics, MS Office 365, SAN/NAS Storage
  • Strong analytical capability and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective in influencing and negotiating to achieve amicable outcomes
