eCommerce Key Account Manager, Pure Play

We are looking for an eCommerce Key Account Manager, Pure Play responsible for developing, executing, and fostering a collaborative business partnership between NBG and Wayfair to deliver sales and profit for the Company. This role will support the Wayfair National Account Manager (NAM) and will have responsibility for building both customer and internal cross functional relationships to develop joint business strategies that deliver win-win solutions that maximize share, sales, and profit. 

The KAM must have a strong analytical mind and be highly proficient in utilizing leading edge data, information systems (internal and external), and metrics around financial, category, and customer trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits. This role requires a team-oriented individual who has strong initiative and can work independently with little supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales and profitability targets by implementing joint business plans
  • Work closely with Wayfair SRM’s, planning and site merch teams to create and deliver an annual plan covering activation of key launches, seasons, and customer specific marketing moments
  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits
  • Work with internal teams to identify, commercialize, and implement specific programs (products, promotions, events)
  • Review promotional activity analysis to maximize key learnings
  • Foster relationships with Wayfair planning teams and align with internal supply chain teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide weekly account business recaps and monthly reporting that details sell-thru by SKU, ranking, productivity, stock & sales, margin and competitive analysis
  • Leverage our brands and product mix to improve profitability and meet customer, shopper, and NBG Home targets 

Skills Required

  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  • Forecasting, Financial and Selling experience within consumer products
  • Results-driven and able to work with the NBG cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self- starter, and be able to work independently
  • Team player attitude and open/motivated to take on side projects as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence in speaking in front of groups, and ability to effectively facilitate video conference meetings with customers and colleagues
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excel and PowerPoint expertise required
  • Proficiency in Wayfair platforms including Partner Home

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or other relevant study
  • eCommerce/Digital expertise
  • 3 years+ experience in sales and/or trade in consumer or professional goods
  • Wholesale sales experience
  • Passion for Home Décor!

Additional Information

  • Location: remote with option to work from a NBG Home office location (NBG Home offices located in Austin, TX and Charleston, SC)
  • Travel when required (~10%)
