We are currently seeking a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst, based in Austin, TX, reporting to the IT Director. The RPA Analyst will be responsible for developing solutions using a variety of methods in support of automation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with end users at all levels of the organization as well as team members within IT to design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions. The RPA Analyst will assist in removing complexity and simplifying processes that span multiple applications and systems with touchpoints both inside and outside of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Stakeholders, End Users, Business Analyst and subject matter experts to understand process requirements and associated systems
  • Translate mapped processes to well-architected solutions that include logging and exception handling
  • Configure, test, and deploy automation agents with integrations to internal and external systems
  • Monitor progress and report on the effectiveness of automations
  • Support investigation and remediation of production issues
  • Assume responsibility for project tasks including requirements documentation, project plans, status reports and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing processes
  • Conduct presentations, demos, and trainings for stakeholders

Skills Required

  • A solid foundation in object-oriented principles, coding patterns and source control practices
  • Demonstrable knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Ability to break complex issues into logical steps
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to apply best practices to solve business problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including end-user communications

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Process Automation tools (Microsoft Power Automate, UI Path, Automation Anywhere)
  • RPA features such as OCR Recognition, text analysis or PDF processing
  • Strong data manipulation skills utilizing Excel
  • Enterprise database knowledge (Microsoft SQL)
  • ERP Knowledge (SAGE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Creating process flow documentation using Visio or similar tools (Lucidchart)
  • Developing tabular reports or dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
  • Familiarity with agile project methodology, tools and concepts

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience creating and interfacing with API's / Webhook
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
