We are currently seeking a Sales Planning Associate, eCommerce , based remote.  This role 

will oversee the digital strategy across NBG’s omni-channel Mass retailers. Key areas of focus will include ensuring that Sales and internal cross-functional counterparts have the insights and information needed to drive on-line penetration and sales growth centered around an Omni-Channel customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills including a high proficiency in excel, a foundational understanding of how decisions impact the P&L, be an effective communicator, and able to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and ever-evolving space.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute eCommerce and Omni-Channel strategies at Mass retailers (including both customer private label brands and NBG catalogue).
  • Participate in the line review process, coordinating with Sales, Product Teams, Marketing, and Sales Finance.
  • Oversee new item set up for all store-shared and online only items.
  • Perform assortment analysis to identify gaps, white space, and broader assortment strategies.
  • Utilize both internal and external data sources to perform business analytics.
  • Leverage understanding of the P&L in decision making.
  • Work closely with Sales to manage and track promotional activity.
  • Identify broader marketplace trends and monitors competitive activity to understand threats, gaps and opportunities.
  • Represent the needs of the retailer to internal cross-functional teams.

 

Skills Required

  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  • Results-driven and able to work with the NBG cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-starter, and be able to work independently
  • Team player attitude and open/motivated to take on side projects as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence in speaking in front of groups, and ability to effectively facilitate video conference meetings with customers and colleagues
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excel and PowerPoint expertise required
  • Understanding of financials and P&L acumen
  • Exhibit teamwork and/or leadership in work our community groups (work-related teams, sports, school groups, etc.)
  • Experience with customer line reviews and customer launch calendars and needs
  • Passion for Home Decor!

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management or other relevant study
  • eCommerce/Digital experience preferred
  • 1-3 years+ experience in consumer or professional goods
